Mango lassi

This is one of my favorite drinks, originally from South Asia (I think). It's prepared with fresh fruit, yoghurt, milk and sometimes some other ingredients. I myself usually add some sugar. To prepare Lassi, you need a blender, or a similar device that can mix the ingredients.

Ingredients:

  • One mango
  • Yoghurt
  • Milk
  • Sugar
I usually just guess how much I need, therefore I don't exactly know how much of each is needed. Normally, I will use one mango, add an equal amount of yoghurt and then add milk until the mixture is smooth and not too thick (i.e. you should be able to drink it through a straw). Finally, I add one table spoon of sugar and mix until there's a smooth drink. Essentially, this is just a milk shake, or a smoothie if you like. You can vary the fruit endlessly.
